Omphalina umbrella (Omphalia umbellifera) is a fungus belonging to the Tricholoma family.

Omphalina umbrella (Omphalia umbellifera) is the only species of algae that successfully cohabits with basidiospore fungi. This species is distinguished by the very small size of the caps, the diameter of which is only 0.8-1.5 cm. Initially, the caps are bell-shaped, but as the mushrooms mature, they open up, and there is a depression on their surface. The edge of the caps is often furrowed, ribbed, the flesh is thin, characterized by shades from white-yellow to olive-brown. The hymenophore is represented by plates located on the inner surface of the cap and is characterized by a white-yellow color, a rare and low location. The leg of mushrooms of this species has a cylindrical shape, small in length, from 0.8 to 2 cm, has a pale yellow color. The thickness of the stem is 1-2 mm. The spore powder has no color, consists of small particles 7-8*6*7 microns in size, having a smooth surface and a short ellipse shape.

Omphalina umbrella (Omphalia umbellifera) is a mushroom that can be found infrequently. It grows mainly on rotten stumps in the middle of coniferous or mixed forests, under spruce or pine trees. This type of mushroom often grows on peat bogs or just bare ground. The fruiting period of the umbrella omphalina falls on the time from mid-summer (July) to mid-autumn (end of October).

Omphalina umbrella (Omphalina umbellifera) is similar to the krynochkovidny omphalina (Omphalina pyxidata), in which the fruiting bodies are slightly larger, and the hat is colored reddish-brown. Both mushrooms belong to inedible varieties.
